Common questions
Which calculation methods are supported?
Muslim World League, ISNA, the Egyptian General Authority, and Umm Al-Qura. Each mosque picks its own and can shift any prayer by up to sixty minutes.
Can iqamah be a fixed time?
Yes — per prayer, either a fixed clock time or minutes after the adhan. Most mosques mix the two: fixed for Dhuhr, offset for the rest.
What hardware does a screen need?
Anything with a browser — a smart TV, a cheap TV stick, or an old laptop. Open the display page and press F for fullscreen.
Does it work at high latitudes?
Yes. Where the sun never reaches the twilight angle in summer, an angle-based night portion rule applies. Where the sun never rises or sets, Salaada falls back to the nearest latitude where it does and labels the result approximate rather than quietly printing a wrong time.
Who can edit our mosque?
Only administrators you assign to it. A mosque administrator cannot see or change any other mosque's times, notices or settings.
